Galaxy M105 (along with galaxies NGC3384 and NGC3389) in Leo
M105 is the top galaxy in this grouping and is an elliptical galaxy. NGC3384 is the galaxy in the middle and, finally, NGC3389 is the one slightly to the right of center. These galaxies appear to be part of the M95/M96 group with a separation from M95/M96 of some 400,000 light years. The whole group is some 29 million light years away. Note, if you put the mouse over this image, you will see these three galaxies from a wider perspective.
